'Apostolic' is leadership. Leadership of the church,the body of Christ, comes from the Lord Jesus Christ who is The Apostle of His church.When Christ prophesied that "the gates of hell will not prevail against the church", He meant that the power of eternal death cannot prevail over His own body when He is the Head of it.This is the church of the The Apostle.
When we start witnessing the horrendous lack of this leadership in His body, we will know that disobedience to His leadership has tragically occured. This sin has been committed by those who had claimed to have followed Him and by those who have used His name for one purpose or another, other than Christ's.They have turned their backs on Him now for some personal reasons.This happened in the Old Testament and it could and will happen now because,the same evil one is here on this earth to deceive them.The pull of the world will draw them to the side of the evil one who stands condemned before God eternally.Inspite of knowing this truth, many of the very elect of God will be deceived,but the wise in Christ will escape.
The Lord Jesus Christ is enthroned on the right hand side of the Heavenly Father now while He, as the perfect Great High Priest, is making intercession for His called,chosen and faithful ones, in order that, full-Christformation happens in each one of us. He assumes the rightful leadership and lordship over His sheeps for a successful Christformation to be brought into completion.He is the Author and the Finisher of Christformation in us.
